Job Overview

The Duty Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, overseeing daily activities and maintaining high standards of service. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage staff, engage with customers, and ensure compliance with company policies. The Duty Manager will also be responsible for creating a positive environment that promotes teamwork and enhances the overall experience for both staff and patrons.

Role Overview:

This is a key operational role supporting our swim schools during their busiest hours. You'll be responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly -- from managing staff, poolside checks to speaking with clients and keeping facilities in a high standard of cleanliness..

Working Hours (Term Time):

Monday to Friday:

3:15pm - 7:30pm

Saturday & Sunday:

9:00am - 5:30pm
This role could be split into a Week day and Weekend position therefore offering 2 separate opportunities for 2 applicants,

Half-terms and school holidays off

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist clients and children Keep changing rooms and bathrooms clean and orderly Perform pool water testing at regular intervals Monitor supplies and general venue organisation Operate swim school software (training will be provided) Ensure a calm, safe, and friendly environment Managing the teaching staff

Requirements:

Adaptable and willing to help wherever needed Able to manage people Comfortable with light cleaning and facility checks Confident using computers and learning new software Friendly and professional with children and parents Able to commit to term-time hours including weekends
