Duty Manager

at our newly acquired

Beacon Hotel in Cardiff

Key Responsibilities:

Be the face of the hotel, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Lead and motivate the reception team to deliver outstanding service and uphold our standards. Oversee the check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy and take on few reception shifts as per the business needs Resolve guest issues with tact and professionalism, ensuring a positive experience. Efficiently manage staff schedules to meet operational demands Conduct training sessions for the reception team, emphasizing service excellence and brand standards. Monitor daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and address challenges promptly. Uphold high standards of service quality and guest satisfaction. Help in other departments when required

Qualifications Required:

Experience in a reception or front-of-house management role Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of hotel management systems (Opera, Rezlynx or similar) Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays is required for this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 26,000.00-27,000.00 per year
