The Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and hands-on
Duty Manager
to join our dynamic team. As a key member of the hotel's leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation of the hotel, restaurant, and bar, ensuring high standards of service, safety, and guest satisfaction are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily hotel operations across front office, bar, and restaurant
Act as the first point of contact for guests, handling any issues with professionalism and efficiency
Support and lead by example, ensuring staff are delivering outstanding service
Monitor staff performance and support team development and training
Assist in managing bookings, check-ins/outs, and guest enquiries
Ensure compliance with health & safety, licensing, and hygiene standards
Handle cashing up procedures and end-of-day reports
Take responsibility for the hotel in the absence of senior management
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience in a Duty Manager or supervisory role within a hotel, bar, or restaurant environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong leadership abilities with a hands-on, proactive approach
Ability to stay calm under pressure and resolve issues effectively
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
