ABOUT THE ROLE




We're looking for a dedicated and proactive Duty Manager to join our team for two days a week.


This hands-on role involves leading daily operations in the absence of senior management, ensuring exceptional guest experiences across our bar and dining areas.


You'll be responsible for upholding high service standards, motivating the front-of-house team, and maintaining the smooth running of the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a passion for hospitality to take ownership and make a real impact.

SALARY:

15:00 per hour plus tronc

HOURS:

Part time - 22 Hours

DAYS:

Monday and Tuesday




RESPONSIBILITIES



Lead the day-to-day operations on Mondays and Tuesdays in the absence of the Restaurant & Bars Manager. Deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring every guest feels welcomed and well cared for. Motivate and guide the front-of-house team to maintain high energy and service standards throughout the day. Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels across all public areas, including the bar and guest spaces. Accurately manage cash handling, daily banking, and site closing procedures. Support bar and light bites service, cellar management and weekly line cleaning. Ensure all compliance tasks, health & safety checks, and mandatory training requirements are up to date and properly documented

SKILLS YOU WILL BRING



Proven experience in a hospitality supervisory or management role, ideally within a luxury bar or restaurant environment. Excellent communication and team leadership skills with the ability to delegate effectively. A guest-focused mindset with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional service. Confident in managing site operations, including cashing up and handling customer feedback. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask under pressure. Professional appearance and attitude, with a strong sense of personal responsibility. Proficiency in using a reservation system and good telephone manner.
