Job Summary
Tudor Farmhouse is a 20 bedroom boutique hotel with 2 AA Restaurant located in the historic village of Clearwell in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire.
We are looking for a customer focused individual to join our small team. We are a small team who works together to make our guests stay enjoyable. You can expect to work on reception, behind the bar, wait on tables and even do the washing up if required. We are ideally looking for someone with a particular interest in taking on bar duties - stock taking, ordering, working with the owner on the wine and cocktails list etc.
Hours
: The role is full time - 40 hours over 5 days on a rota basis. The shifts are normally 06.30-3, 12 to 9pm or 3-Close (typically between 11pm and midnight). There may be the occasional split shift. We do open over Christmas & New Year and you will be expected to work over that period. The role will involve working most weekends.Please include a covering letter with your CV stating why you feel you are the right person for this role.
Responsibilities and Duties
Taking bookings
Showing guests to their rooms
Providing guests with information about the area
Checking guests in and out
Serving drinks on the Bar
Helping in the restaurant during service for breakfast, lunch and dinner
Cashing up at the end of the day
Covering in the absence of the owners
