We have an opportunity for a full time permanent Duty Manager at Newton Aycliffe leisure centre.WHAT IS INVOLVED?You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the venue providing a high-quality service to customers, that is safe, efficient and enjoyed by users; supporting the Operations Manager to maximise income and to lead a team that is motivated, positive, customer focussed and that implements a xe2x80x9ccan doxe2x80x9d culture in line with the thrive values.You will act as a physical activity advocate, proactively encouraging and supporting customers to live a healthy lifestyle.We encourage you to contact Dean Wade, Leisure Operations Manager at nbsp;to arrange an informal discussion about the role.WHAT WILL I NEED?

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant area

• Pool Plant Qualification

• RLSS Pool Lifeguard qualification

Significant experience working in a wet side sport/leisure environment and supervisory experience is essential.You must have experience of supervising employees, along with Health & Safety experience and of providing excellent customer service.Good communication skills and knowledge of the Sport and Leisure industry are essential.The successful applicant for this post will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.Please refer to the attached person specification for the full criteria.REWARDS AND BENEFITSWe offer generous rewards and benefits that are designed to help you perform at your best:
