Duty Manager

to join our dedicated team and help deliver a memorable experience to our guests each day.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative and evolving visitor attraction. You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operations while also getting involved in the interactive, immersive elements that bring Jane Austen's world to life. Key Responsibilities:



Provide outstanding customer service and help drive sales of high-quality gift items. Develop in-depth knowledge of our unique product range and assist customers with purchases. Welcome and engage visitors to ensure a warm, friendly atmosphere at all times. Take on occasional key holder duties, including opening/closing and managing alarm systems. Carry out end-of-day cashing up procedures and ensure tills are balanced accurately. Maintain high standards of security, cleanliness, and presentation throughout the site. Support stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory management. Assist in the Jane Austen Experience Exhibition, engaging with visitors and enhancing their journey through the space. Bring the experience to life using props and interactive touch points in a lively, guest-focused environment. Work closely with a wider team of actors, ushers, retail staff, and managers to deliver a seamless visitor experience.

What We're Looking For:



Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing role. Confident in processing transactions and completing cashing-up duties. Responsible and trustworthy, with experience or comfort in key holder responsibilities. Strong communication skills and a warm, personable approach. A self-starter with a positive attitude and eagerness to get involved. Enjoys working as part of a supportive, collaborative team. Flexibility to work both weekdays and weekends as needed. Willingness to support both the Gift Shop and Exhibition as required.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 27,500.00-29,500.00 per year
