Saint Luke's, a multi award winning music and events venue and The Winged Ox, our bustling fast paced casual dining restaurant are looking to add to our diverse, professional and energetic team of hospitality managers.

With the capacity to host up to 600 guests for live ents, with a further 300 in the restaurant and beer gardens, Saint Luke & The Winged Ox is a great place to work. Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a background in the culinary or hospitality industry. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional service delivery, maintaining food safety standards, and supervising staff across various departments, including the kitchen and restaurant areas. Your role will be pivotal in creating a positive environment for both guests and team members.

Responsibilities



Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the hotel or restaurant. Lead and manage kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Oversee culinary activities, including menu planning and food preparation. Provide leadership and support to bartending staff, ensuring high-quality beverage service. Train and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative work environment. Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and efficiency. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within all areas of operation.

Experience



Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or culinary sector. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen operations. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management. Background in bartending or restaurant service is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests and staff alike. A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
