We're looking for a reliable, motivated individual to come on board our small team as a duty manager across 2 pubs in Newcastle city centre, ideally from a mixed food and drink background.
The right candidate will be hands on and not afraid to get stuck in to anything as everyone in our team must be able to work flexibly across the 2 venues - It's very important to us that the successful candidate is like-minded and committed to the role.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
opening up/locking up
cashing up
supervising staff on shift
dealing with event enquiries
ensuring legal compliance with fire safety, food safety and health and safety whilst on shift
maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the premises
Essential:
At least 6 months of relevant experience either in team management or bar supervision.
Must be able to work all times and days of the week, holidays etc.
The ideal candidate will: ( but not essential as all courses can be achieved in house)
have recent fire training
have recent first aid training
have food hygiene certificate level 2 or higher

Salary:35,000.00 for 48hours per week, all hours over 48 will be paid.
