Summary



As a Duty Manager at Church - Temple of Fun, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue whilst supporting the General Manager.

Bar Responsibilities



Being hands on with delivery shifts Maximise productivity of labour resources Ensure the department is prepared and organised to meet all business requirements ready for the venue to be open. Including the pre batching of stock and fruit in preparation for the weekend. Ensure all company and cash handling procedures are adhered to at all times and any discrepancies identified are fully investigated with appropriate action taken. To competently change kegs and gas when necessary. How to update sold out items, change clock out times and other basic functions using Kobas To aid in the development of a positive, motivated and dynamic team through your effective management and leadership style and act as an ambassador, lead the team to exceed guest expectations and deliver exceptional service. To comply with all health and safety legislation Be responsible for the security of the building when locking up at close. In the absence of the General Manager to be able to order stock, do the rota, clean the beer lines, tap cask beer

FoH responsibilities



Oversee the effective running of the front of house operation, ensuring all customers receive the same exceptional level of service at all times. Ensure all staff are briefed on their responsibilities and are delegated tasks, given appropriate supervision and motivated on all aspects of their work. Develop a culture of actively engaging customers in conversation and continually get feedback, behaving calmly, positively and professionally when dealing with suggestions, compliments and complaints. Ensure the housekeeping, appearance of displays and general appearance of the venue is to the correct standard at all times. Managing email and phone enquiries on shift. Work closely with the kitchen to ensure consistent, quality products are being prepared and delivered to customers as detailed in the specifications and rectify any deviances promptly to minimize the chance of recurrence. Be proactive in solving problems, managing bookings, chasing preorders and liasing with the kitchen. Communicate any potential problems to the Operations Manager, when appropriate.

Requirements



Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent guest service skills with a passion for creating memorable experiences.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
