Job Description

Responsible for: The day to day operation of the venue in accordance with the requirements of the company, legislation and ensure effective planning and implementation of our core values at all times. To maintain a high standard relating to health and safety.

Responsible to: General Manager

Responsibilities: (Not exhaustive)

1. To be on hand to assist all departments as needed.

2. To ensure the health, safety and comfort of all staff and customers.

3. To ensure cleanliness and high standards of the venue at all times.

4. To maintain the temperature and condition of the ice pad including driving the ice resurfacing machine when required - full training will be provided.

5. To provide first aid when needed - a first aid certificate would be advantageous otherwise training will be provided.

6. To liaise with coaches and ensure smooth running of learn to skate classes, shows and events.

7. To deal with day-to-day issues in an efficient manner.

8. To cash up all takings at the end of the day, cash handling experience would be advantageous.

9. To deal with any staff or staffing issues which arise in the day-to-day business.

10. To ensure staff training is up to date and relevant for the department.

11. To Implement and maintain the company health, safety& hygiene policies in order to comply with all legal requirements and company policies.

12. To ensure that the maintenance and repair of all internal/external equipment and property meet the company and legal standard.

13. To ensure all matters over which you have responsibility or influences are carried out in line with the company's health and safety policy.

In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the jobholder is required to perform other reasonable duties that have been assigned to them as an individual
