Overview


We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage a dynamic team, ensure food safety standards are maintained, and contribute to the overall success of our venue. The Duty Manager will be responsible for supervising staff, managing food preparation processes, and maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Duties



Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and high customer satisfaction Supervise and support team members, including serving staff, kitchen personnel, and baristas Manage food production and preparation processes in accordance with food safety regulations Coordinate food service activities, including cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes Ensure compliance with health and safety standards across all areas of the establishment Lead by example in delivering excellent hospitality experiences to guests Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and special requests professionally and efficiently Assist in training new staff members and providing ongoing coaching to existing team members Monitor stock levels, place orders when necessary, and manage inventory control Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and service areas

Requirements



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety procedures Extensive restaurant experience with knowledge of culinary practices and kitchen operations Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure Experience in hotel or hospitality settings is desirable Knowledge of food production processes and service standards Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential Good communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 29,000.00-33,000.00 per year
