We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Duty Supervisor to join our team at Xcite Linlithgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to take the next step in their leisure career into a supervisory role or with previous management experience.

Role Overview:



As a

Duty Supervisor

working with the Duty Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all customers. You will be responsible for supervising staff, managing customer inquiries, handling health and safety protocols, and ensuring that all activities and facilities are running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:



Supervise and manage the team, ensuring high standards of service and customer care. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including poolside supervision, fitness areas, and activity spaces. Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, carrying out regular risk assessments and ensuring the facility is fully compliant. Handle customer queries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner. Assist with staff training and development, ensuring all staff members are equipped with the knowledge and skills required. Monitor facility maintenance, ensuring equipment and areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Support in the preparation and execution of events and activities held at the leisure centre. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere.

Key Requirements:



Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a leisure centre or similar environment is desirable. Pool plant, pool operations experience would be a distinct advantage. Strong understanding of health and safety protocols in a public facility. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team, ensuring efficient operations. First Aid and/or Lifeguard qualification (preferred, but training can be provided). Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. A passion for fitness, sport, and recreation is desirable.
Working an average of 36 Hours per week over a 4 week rota/shift pattern.

Monday: 14:30-22:30 Tuesday: 16:00-22:30 Wednesday: 16:00-22:30 Thursday: OFF Friday: OFF Saturday: 08:15-16:00 Sunday: 07:45-16:30

Week 2:



Monday: 05:30-12:30 Tuesday: 05:30-12:30 Wednesday: 05:30-12:30 Thursday: 05:30-12:30 Friday: 05:30-13:30 Saturday: OFF Sunday: OFF

Week 3:



Monday: 14:30-22:30 Tuesday: 16:00-22:30 Wednesday: 16:00-22:30 Thursday: 16:00-22:30 Friday: 13:30-20:45 Saturday: OFF Sunday: OFF

Week 4:



Monday: 05:30-12:30 Tuesday: 05:30-12:30 Wednesday: 05:30-12:30 Thursday: 15:15-22:30 Friday: 13:00-20:45 Saturday: OFF Sunday: OFF
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.17 per hour
