DVAP Childrens Project worker Job description
This is a Full time role based at Market Weighton working within DVAP Childrens service. The role involves managing a caseload involving Children and Young people from 6 to 18 years of age who have experienced or being exposed to domestic abuse.
The role involves working closely with Families and partner agencies to plan, coordinate, and deliver tailored support that addresses the emotional and psychological needs of these young individuals delivering a programme which helps them cope with the experiences they have been exposed to, these include.
Delivering one to one support sessions, typically in schools or childrens centres.
Facilitate Domestic abuse awarness training in secondaty schools.
Provide bespoke programme in pupil referral units (PRU), and East riding colleges
Collaborate with multi agencies to ensure holistic support for each case.
