Overview

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Lead Implementation Consultant to lead and manage enterprise software implementations, focusing on Business Central solutions for a manufactuiring business. The ideal candidate will possess strong project implementation and management skills, technical expertise in cloud computing and databases, and excellent communication abilities. This role involves overseeing all phases of project lifecycle, from requirements gathering to user acceptance testing, ensuring seamless deployment aligned with organizational goals and IT governance standards.

Duties

Lead end-to-end implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central, including planning, configuration, customization, and deployment. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications. Manage project schedules using tools such as Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite; utilize project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, SAFe, and Kanban. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration with existing IT infrastructure, databases (SQL, Oracle), and enterprise software systems. Oversee SDLC processes, including development of test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and test-driven development practices. Facilitate release management, disaster recovery planning, and IT governance compliance. Utilize project management software such as TFS, VersionOne, Jira, and SharePoint for tracking progress and documentation. Provide leadership in program management activities including risk mitigation, resource allocation, and stakeholder communication. Ensure adherence to project management standards such as PMBOK and requirements gathering best practices. Conduct training sessions for end-users and support post-deployment activities to optimize system utilization.

Skills

Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation in enterprise environments. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS; familiarity with IT infrastructure setup is a plus. Proficiency in project management methodologies including Agile (Scrum), SAFe, Waterfall; skilled in project scheduling and organizational skills. Expertise in databases (SQL Server, Oracle), software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control systems like TFS and VersionOne. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Visio), SharePoint; excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement. Demonstrated leadership capabilities with experience managing large-scale projects across multiple teams. Ability to develop comprehensive test plans including test cases and user acceptance testing procedures. Knowledge of IT governance standards, disaster recovery planning, release management processes, and program management principles. Strong analysis skills combined with negotiation abilities to ensure project success within scope and timeline constraints.
