12.25 an hour plus petrol allowance covering full mileage of delivery and holiday pay.
Our office is based in Yeovil, but the position is mobile delivering in Yeovil, Crewkerne and the surrounding villages.

We are a small family local business run by a husband and wife with their sister-in-law, delivering newspapers, milk & groceries to residential and business customers.
Our small team is looking for a new delivery driver to learn our Crewkerne round and be able to work overtime in the week covering holidays when required. There will also be the possibility of learning other rounds.
The position is a permanent vacancy working every Saturday, and if possible being flexible to work extra shifts covering sickness and holidays. The rounds take approx 4 hours to complete, and our delivery drivers are usually back at our office by 9:00am. We are looking for someone to start at 4:30am and help us set up the newspapers ready for delivery and then complete your own delivery round.
Newspapers and goods are collected from our Yeovil office ready to leave at 5am. Once all deliveries are complete, all drivers will be required to return to the office to bring back shop returns, spare goods etc.
A knowledge of the local area would be helpful, but not essential.
No experience or qualifications required, but someone with excellent time keeping and happy to work early mornings is essential.
Delivery Hours
05:00am - 09:30am - Saturday + 30 minutes setting up time (04:30am)
Requirements
A full driving licence and use of your own vehicle is required (mileage allowance is provided to cover fuel plus wear & tear).
A smartphone is preferred to access our delivery app, but not essential as round sheets will be provided.
Full training and support will be given to be shown the delivery route, and self learning will be encouraged.
Ideal candidates would be suited to getting up early and morning work.
Reliability and excellent time keeping is essential, as lateness has a major effect on our customers.
