Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Sandwich Maker, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that every sandwich is crafted to perfection while adhering to food safety standards. Your ability to manage time effectively and provide excellent customer service will contribute to an enjoyable dining experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to standard recipes Ensure all food items are fresh, properly stored, and handled in compliance with food safety regulations. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen area, including equipment and utensils. Assist in the preparation of other menu items as needed, demonstrating versatility in the kitchen. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours.

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation or a similar role within a restaurant or culinary setting is preferred but not essential. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. Basic maths skills for accurate measurement of ingredients and handling transactions. Knowledge of food safety practices and hygiene standards is essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers and colleagues. A willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic team environment.

Timings 4am to 9am the ideal candidate must be able to drive and have transport as trains are not working at that time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
