Duties
Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting, ensuring their individual needs are met.
Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering children's social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
Collaborate with other staff members to create an inclusive atmosphere that supports all children's needs.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
Relevant qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
Strong management and leadership skills to guide junior staff members effectively.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for childcare, with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
Driving licence preferred to facilitate travel if required for outings or activities.
