We are a dynamic children's indoor soft play centre dedicated to providing a fun, safe, and stimulating experiences for toddlers and preschoolers. Our mission is to promote early development and social interaction through engaging play-based activities.
Role Overview
We're seeking a creative and enthusiastic Early Years Activity Coordinator to design and lead engaging sessions for children aged 0-5 at our centres across the Midlands. This role combines activity planning, community outreach, and occasional front-of-house duties to ensure a vibrant and inclusive experience for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities
Activity Planning - Develop and implement a variety of age-appropriate, play-based activities, including toddler sessions, baking classes, and creative workshops. Event Coordination - Enhance party offerings by organizing and leading themed activities and games. Community Engagement - Build relationships with local nurseries, schools, and community groups to promote our programs and organize collaborative events. Front-of-House Support - Assist with visitor inquiries, bookings, and ensure a welcoming environment at the reception area as needed. Safety and Compliance - Ensure all activities comply with health and safety regulations and maintain accurate records. Team Collaboration - Work closely with staff and volunteers to create a cohesive and supportive environment for all families. Travel - To other Fun Valley sites in the Midlands to hold activities of the same nature.
Qualifications and Experience
Preferred - Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Considered - Level 2 qualification with substantial experience in early years settings, or candidates actively working towards a Level 3 qualification. Experience - Proven experience in planning and leading activities for young children. Skills - Strong understanding of child development principles; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in using social media for community engagement. Certifications - First Aid and Safeguarding certifications are desirable. Full UK Drivers License is Highly recommended.
