Early Years Level 3 Apprentice

Location: Abbotswood Day Nursery, Romsey

Hours: 36-39 hours per week | All year round

Salary: 7.60 - 9.50 per hour (depending on experience)

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

Support children's care, play, and learning in line with the EYFS Embrace our

outdoor learning ethos

, leading activities in all weathers Assist in delivering a

forest school and hygge-inspired approach

to early years care Work across different rooms and age groups, supporting the wider team Observe, record, and celebrate children's progress with guidance from colleagues Work well in large teams Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and staff

Requirements:

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths, or equivalent Functional Skills Level 2

Full UK Driving Licence

(due to nursery location) A genuine passion for working with young children A love of the outdoors, with willingness to work outside in all weathers Reliable, responsible, and committed to completing a Level 3 Early Years Apprenticeship Ability to work effectively as part of a large, supportive team Previous childcare experience is helpful, but not essential

Hours & Salary:

Over 18s:

39 hours per week

Under 18s:

36 hours per week

All year round with a

week closure at Christmas

Salary:

7.60 per hour minimum
