The Role: To put it simply, your role will be to deliver high quality apprenticeships to your caseload of learners giving them the best experience possible to upskill themselves in a positive environment.
This role will specifically focus on the Level 2 Playworker & Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship Programmes.
Whilst our Head Office is in Berkshire & there will be a requirement for Face to Face Team meetings a few times a year this is a remote working role from Home with travel required to complete learner observations.
Responsibilities: As a Early Years tutor your responsibilities would include:
? To be available to deliver and support learning through formal scheduled high- quality teaching.
? Monthly reports on learners progress delivered to the Programme Manager and relevant employer contacts.
? To ensure that each learner portfolio is accurately completed, updated, maintained and prepared for End Point Assessment.
? To ensure effective continuous assessment and action planning of learner's portfolios throughout their Programme and final assessment within the agreed time limit.
? To assess and mark learner's assignment, workbooks, tests and examinations within the agreed timeframe, with clear and constructive feedback using the correct documentation and criteria.
? Collate required documentation & prepare End Point Assessment (EPA) forms for the End Point Assessment Organisation (EPAO)
? To be a role model throughout the duration of the apprenticeship.
? Be involved in the standardisation of Programmes & contribute to the development of course resources.
You: We're looking for someone who loves tutoring, with experience in the Early Years sector & wraparound care
Below are some of the key skills that will make you a great fit for this role:
? Minimum 3 years experience in this sector
? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with learners, employers and colleagues.
? Adaptability to teaching strategies based on individual student needs & to keep learners on track.
? A passion for education and a commitment to supporting the learning needs of all apprentices, including those with special educational requirements.
? Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
Qualifications/Experience
Experience of working or teaching in the Childcare sector
Previous experience working with apprenticeships is highly desirable.
Teaching qualification such as PTLLS Qualification desirable or willing to work towards
Assessor qualification such as TAQA/CAVA desirable or willing to work towards
IQA Certification is highly desirable.
Knowledge & Experience in Safeguarding principles
