Job Description

Earn while you learn, full, on the job training given as well as time for studying for Early years qualifications. Interested in mature trainees with life/other career experience looking to change direction.

Will consider L2 or L3 apprentice

Age range of the nursery is 9 months up to 4 years, up to 11 years during holidays.

Work with a great team who will support you in the workplace and help you gain experience and confidence.

Your duties will include caring and teaching young babies and children, covering all aspects including child development, physical care, feeding and changing, arts and crafts, physical messy play, going on trips, forest nursery learning.

Don't listen to anyone who says childcare is a dead end job! We have had many staff who have progressed in the workplace to management and supervisory positions, gone on to teaching, child psychology, speech and language specialists and social work.

Contract length: 18 months

Pay: 8.00-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 37 per week
