Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will ideally have a strong background in early childhood education abut most importantly, a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children in our care. The Early Years Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with daily activities, fostering positive relationships with children, and supporting their learning journey.

Responsibilities

Assist in the development and implementation of engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of each child. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's development. Assist with classroom activities, ensuring smooth transitions between different tasks and routines. Collaborate with other educators Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in childcare and early years education. Maintain a clean and organised nursery space that is conducive to learning.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience working with children is desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being able to manage individual responsibilities. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education. 4 days a week between 8am and 6pm (not set days)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
