We're looking for a flexible working practitioner to join our Bright Flex / Bank team at our

Cramond

nursery.


Bright Horizons Cramond is a purpose-built nursery located in the scenic outskirts of Edinburgh, offering a warm, welcoming environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. The nursery is designed to inspire curiosity and creativity, with bright, spacious rooms filled with sensory and natural play materials, and a large outdoor garden perfect for active exploration. The team is known for its caring, child-centred approach and strong relationships with families. For those commuting, the nursery is conveniently situated near the A90 and is well-served by local bus routes, making it easily accessible from central Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

The Role

Working as part of our Bright Flex / Bank team, you can blend the convenience of bank/ agency work, with the security and benefits of being an employee - giving you the best of both worlds!


Within this role, you will work as part of a team to look after babies and children up to the age of 5. You will have adventures through interactive play, reading, and activities to encourage curious minds - supporting colleagues with each child's development towards their key milestones.

What we're looking for

Previous experience working with children ideal but not essential - Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nanny, Childminder or similar Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults Ability to be flexible and adaptable
