Dulwich Prep & Senior is an exciting place to work. We are looking for an exceptional Early Years Class Teacher, who is passionate about inspiring a lifelong love of learning in children and who embraces our vision of fostering intellectual curiosity, to join our Early Years Class Teacher in Spring Term 2026, for one academic year.
As an Early Years Class Teacher you will:
Create & manage a caring, supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment.
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons across the Early Years curriculum.
Contribute to the preparation and development of policies and schemes of work, teaching materials , methods of teaching and pastoral arrangements.
Hold high expectations for the children, using assessment to evaluate and improve teaching and the learning and attainment of pupils.
Applications are invited from teachers who can demonstrate the following:
QTS qualification (PGCE desirable)
Full & relevant training and/or experience in the Early Years Foundation Stage and/or KS1
Paediatric First Aid qualified (or the willingness to train for the qualification)
Knowledge of current educational thinking, initiatives and issues in Early Years
