Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Manager or room leader to join our team.
The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and have excellent knowledge of The Early Years Foundation Stage .
You will have the experience of leading a team and supporting the manager to develop the setting to ensure children have the highest standard of care and education .
This is a permanent role of up to 30 hours per week, for 50 weeks of the year. working hours, on a weekly rota basis, will be between 7.30 am and 6pm
Key Elements
To support the manager in the operation of the nursery
To ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to .
To manage the nursery in the managers absence
To support staff with planning
To create enriching environments.
To manage administration tasks as required
Essential Experience
A minimum of Level Three in child care and education
Previous experience of managing and supervising staff
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 14.22 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
Work Location: In person
