Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and educational development of young learners.

Responsibilities

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that cater to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years. Foster a safe and inclusive environment where children feel valued and respected. Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians. Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies within the nursery setting. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to build strong relationships. Be in overall charge in the absence of the manager and be a key holder.

Skills

Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare settings, ideally with nursery experience. Strong management and leadership skills to guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development. Ability to drive is advantageous for potential off-site activities or training sessions. Knowledge of child development theories and practices is highly desirable. Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
