Qualified Deputy Manager



Warsash Early Years Centre, Church Lane.

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Deputy Manager to join our dynamic Early Years team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in supporting the directors in delivering high-quality care and education.

At Warsash Early Years Centre, we will strive to provide a stimulating, caring, and positive environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years. The provision will feature three spacious areas filled with a wide range of stimulating resources, along with two outdoor areas of which mirror our indoor environment.

Our wider dedicated team of experienced childcare practitioners are committed to supporting our children's development and well-being. We believe in fostering positive partnerships with parents, keeping them informed and engaged through regular updates and photos showcasing their child's learning journey.

What We're Looking For



Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential) Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Early Years Practitioner, or similar) Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children

Key Responsibilities



Support the manager in leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the setting. Provide guidance and coaching to practitioners to enhance teaching and learning practices. Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures. Support the manager in the monitoring and evaluating the quality of provision. Develop and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers and external agencies.
