Pre-school Deputy Room Leader

We are looking for a supportive, passionate and driven Deputy Pre-school Room Leader to support our room leader and deputise in their absence.

Your Role:

Working alongside the room leader, leading and inspiring the team to embrace Mendip House's vision and curriculum. Creating a rich and enabling environment where children can thrive. A Key person to a group of 2-4 year olds. Build a positive and trusting bond with both the children and their families. Provide meaningful, purposeful and exciting activities. Follow Mendip House routines, Policies & Procedures. Complete each child's Learning Journal and share with parents. Be part of the Senior Leadership Team, with good communication and a "Can do" attitude. Supporting the nursery manager in operational excellence and compliance.

Essential: Level 3 or above Qualification in Early Years

Desirable: A willingness to achieve these is essential.

Hours and Pay:

Full time, 41.5 hours per week. Shifts between 8am - 6pm

Monday - Friday. Half day off per week.

Pay: as detailed in description.
