Your Role: What will you be doing?



As Development Officer, you will play a key part in supporting our teams and ensuring the smooth running of all Daisy Fays settings. Working closely with our Directors, Development Officers, SENCO's and Nursery Managers you will help maintain high standards of care, education, and compliance across the nurseries.


In this role, you will:


Liaise with Directors on daily operational needs. Mentor Room Leaders and Practitioners encouraging CPD and career progression. Carry out scheduled visits to nurseries, supporting the team. Ensure settings meet statutory requirements, EYFS expectations, and the Daisy Fays curriculum. Support Managers with staff ratios, wellbeing, supervisions, and maintaining positive team morale. Oversee and implement new paperwork, policies, and documentation, including GDPR compliance. Assist with safeguarding, complaints, training needs, and general practice development within settings. Work with Local Authorities to ensure nurseries remain compliant and deliver high-quality care. Support the transition and development of new settings joining Daisy Fays.

Requirements: What are we looking for?

We're looking for an experienced Early Years professional who can confidently support multiple settings and lead with warmth, clarity, and high standards. You'll need:


A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (essential).

Proven Nursery Management or Early Years Teaching experience (essential).

Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding, health, safety, and Early Years regulation. Strong communication skills and a supportive, solutions-focused approach.

Please note, due to our sector, all roles are subject to an

Enhanced DBS and Paediatric First Aid certification. All personnel will be required to subscribe to the DBS Update service once the DBS has been applied for.
