Summary of the Early Years Practitioner Apprentice Role
As an Early Years Practitioner Apprentice, you will contribute to a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children in nursery. You will also ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety are promoted.
What will you be doing:
Supporting the delivery of activities to suit each individual child's stage of development and interests.
Under supervision, provide aspects of care for children including washing faces and hands, feeding and changing clothing.
Ensuring that mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
Contributing to good standards of safety, hygiene and cleanliness at all times.
Be constantly aware of children's needs.
Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of all individual children.
We are looking for someone that has:
GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) as minimum.
A warm, caring and nurturing personality.
The ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and colleagues.
Works well as part of a collaborative team.
Is willing to work towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
Job Types: Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
Work Location: In person
