We are looking for an enthusiastic team player to fill the role of the Early Years Educator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development of young children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness.
Duties
Plan and develop rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, that helps all children to develop, and meets their individual needs
Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, through supporting the delivery of the key person approach
Ensure the environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
Develop and maintain strong parent/ carer partnerships
Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices
Supporting the General Manager in the run of the setting
Qualifications
Minimum of Level 3 qualification; and willing to work towards achieving Level 4 or 5.
Paediatric First Aid Certification (required).
Proven track record of early years teaching.
Have a secure knowledge in planning within the EYFS curriculum.
Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate both children and colleagues.
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a positive attitude.
Salary
27,000 per year.
