We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. This role is essential in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, promoting their development and learning through engaging activities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid foundation in early childhood education, alongside the ability to lead and manage a group of children effectively.
Responsibilities
Create and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages children's exploration and learning.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support children's emotional well-being.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and identifying areas for further development.
Collaborate with other educators and staff to ensure high standards of care and education are maintained.
Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Provide leadership within the nursery setting, guiding less experienced staff as needed.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings is essential.
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or similar environment is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with children and parents.
Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team of educators.
A genuine passion for working with children and driving their development through play-based learning.
An understanding of child development theories and practices relevant to early years education.
