Numbers are building at Sheepwash Farm Day Nursery. We are looking to recruit up to 4 full time Early Years Educators to join our established team at Sheepwash Farm where our brand new setting is based on a farm in a rural location and powered fully by renewable energy!
As an Early Years Educator, you will be a key person and deliver the EYFS through child-led activities, you will be expected to use your fun and creative flair to provide excellent, engaging learning opportunities for the children. As a key person, you must be confident in building parent partnerships and ensure you work together to meet children's developmental rates.
As a key person, you will ensure every individual child's needs are met.
Safeguarding children is your priority.
Take pride in your planning observation and assessment procedure.
Adhere to our childcare policies.
Be a key player to ensure the nursery receives excellent outcomes
Ensure that children's observations are detailed, reflective and provide developmentally challenging next steps, along with teachable moments being created through opportunities and experiences.
Ensure we encourage and always praise children's achievements and development
Proactively implement safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures
You must be able to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the new and updated EYFS
Support the management team to meet all Ofsted requirements and ensuring that these are always maintained
A positive and proactive attitude to work
A team player who uses their own initiative and who thrives working in a busy and exciting environment
NNEB or BTEC Nat Dip or CACHE Dip in Childcare or NVQ Level 3
Previous experience working and caring for children under 5 Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities
A minimum of 1 years experience working within the childcare sector
