Full Time at 40 hours per week: 8-6pm for 4 days a week.

ABOUT THIS ROLE



Paint Pots The Grove, nestled in the heart of Notting Hill, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Nursery Practitioner to join our warm and experienced team.

You will be working in our vibrant 2-5 year-old classroom, which welcomes up to 32 children daily between 8:00am and 6:00pm. The classroom is supported by a team of 8 practitioners, including Room Leaders with strong Montessori experience, qualified Montessori Teachers, and Level 3 Early Years Educators.

Paint Pots Montessori Schools are a group of three highly regarded MEAB accredited Montessori Nursery Schools. Established in 1988 we have over 34 years experience of delivering the best quality nursery care and education.

We invest in our team with a focus on training and CPD. The successful candidate for this role will be offered the opportunity of Montessori Training alongside further training opportunities.

PERSON SPECIFICATION



We are looking for someone nurturing who understands the unique needs of this young age group. Someone with a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child Our ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the EYFS, the development of children experience of a nursery setting for this age group. We are looking for someone calm, sensitive, flexible, enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated. Someone who is passionate about their career in educating children and who believes in continually learning and expanding their knowledge of teaching through further training and experience. We are looking for an excellent team player with a good team spirit.

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS



You will have a minimum of level 3 relevant childcare qualification. Montessori level 4 training preferred but not essential. You will have a minimum if 2 years experience working in a nursery setting. You will have excellent written and spoken English and be a good communicator. You will have an understanding of SEN teaching (& any SEN experience would be ideal). We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

The successful candidate will be required to have a clear DBS check.

External candidates will need to provide two references from previous employers.
