Qualified Early Years Practitioner - Level 2 or 3
Work Pattern
Full time (40 hours over 4 days).

38 days paid holiday including bank holidays per year (our setting is closed for 6 weeks per year).
Qualifications
Minimum Level 2 in a full and relevant childcare qualification.
Roles and Responsibilities
- To support the day to day running of the setting
- To support a group of key children, working in partnership with their parents and other professionals and completing developmental records.
- To support colleagues and work as a team to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children in our care.
- To assist in providing a range of stimulating and exciting activities for the children which encourage independence, motivation and an eagerness to learn through play.
- To work as part of the team to ensure that the Early Years Foundation Stage is Followed at all times.
- To support care needs of children such as nappy changing and feeding.
- To work as part of a team to ensure that our setting is clean, tidy and inviting.
Experience
We would desire candidates to have at least 1 years experience working or volunteering in an early years setting, however we will consider applications from newly qualified practitioners.
Early Years Practitioners are expected to have a good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage including the statutory requirements to be followed at all times.
We expect all Early Years Practitioners to have an understanding of Safeguarding and best practice to protect children from harm. Safeguarding training is desirable but will be provided if a candidate does not hold a current certificate. A full induction will be provided.
All positions are subject to Enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
