Job overview

We are looking to appoint a Room Lead to join our lovely (expanding) Nursery .
Our newly refurbished building is situated close to the Train Station, offering on-site bike and car parking. Sancton Wood Nursery is a family friendly environment with pupils aged 12 months to 4 years. Recognised for its outstanding contribution to the social and emotional development of each individual child. Our big garden creates an inviting space for the children to develop their physical play with Forest School, a large climbing frame, water pump and sand pit.

This post is available Full-time (five days per week). The hours of 7.30am - 6.00pm (with an early start/finish or late start/finish rota) Monday to Friday. Part-time applicants are also welcome. The Nursery is open 48 weeks a year with closures at Christmas, Easter and 2 weeks in August. You will also be able to take an additional 5 days holiday plus any public holidays which do not fall during the Nursery closure periods (holidays pro-rated for part-time working).
Essential:

Level 3 or equivalent in EYFS (or above)

Desirable:

Experience as a Room Lead/Supervisory Role
Paediatric first aid qualified
