Job Description

In this job role you will work alongside the management team and staff to ensure that the vision and values of the company are fully implemented and upheld. You will also on occasion liaise with the Local Authority and other professionals associated with the Nursery.

You will plan and prepare exciting and motivating activities relating to children's interests and abilities as well as implementing any programmes provided from out side agencies such as SALT.

You will ensure that company policies and procedures are followed to a high standard. You will have leadership skills that inspire a cohesive team bond in this busy setting. You will also need confidence and professionalism whilst promoting partnerships with parents.

You will monitor and record each individual child's progress and provide next steps that are individual for the child. You will ensure that developmental observations, records & reports are up to date. Safeguarding children is paramount and this will reflect in your practise at all times.

The role also requires you to hold a level 3 qualification or above in Early years. Previous experience of working in a Day Nursery is essential for this role. You will need to have a clear understanding of the EYFS, statutory frameworks and guidance and be able to have fun, dress up, dance and get messy. You will have adventurous and exciting ways of delivering planning to the children, being able to think outside the box whilst ensuring that the children are safe.

Pay: 9,518.00-25,396.80 per year
