BRAND NEW BABY ROOM

, we have an exciting opportunity for someone with a nurturing, passionate and enthusiastic nature to join our team. Could this be you?

We are looking for someone with a minimum of level 3 Early years qualification to join our small close knit team, ideally with baby room experience, working with children from 6 weeks to 2 years. We would ideally like you to join us for four days a week but we can also accommodate a full time role over five days. Our working day is between the hours of 7.00 and 6pm (rota) Monday to Friday 51 weeks of the year.

Highgate Nursery is a Family run, friendly, spacious nursery consisting of four imaginative, age-appropriate rooms, with high quality resources that provide opportunities for open-ended play. Each age group (from 6 weeks to 12 years) also has an assigned outdoor space within our one acre of grounds, and all children have access to our Forest School setting which is located close to the nursery. At Highgate we follow 'In the Moment Planning' and the Curiosity Approach to inspire and promote children to explore, educate and play (experience of these approaches are desirable but not essential).

Your salary would be dependent upon qualifications and experience. We pay above the minimum wage with a starting wage (age/qualification/ probation period dependent) of 13.50 per hour.

Job Type / Category

The hours would be on a shift pattern from 7.00am to 6pm.

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

*a full and relevant childcare qualification to at least Level 3

*a good knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted and safeguarding procedures

a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification (desirable)
food hygiene certificate (desirable)
*DBS on the update service (this will be completed upon a job offer if not already in place)

Pay: From 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 37.5 per week
