Level 3 Early Years Educator

to join our team!

Jigsaw Pre-School is a term time setting situated in the heart of Needham Market within a purpose built building with large garden area.

The hours of work:

3 x mornings 8.45am-12.45pm

The successful candidate will be required to start from September 2025

Main responsibilities of the role include:

Providing high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for all children. Observe, assess, and plan appropriate activities to promote each child's development. Working collaboratively with a team of practitioners to maintain high standards of care. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensuring health and safety guidelines are followed at all times. Supporting children's emotional, physical, and social development through a range of engaging activities

What Jigsaw is looking for from the successful candidate...

Level 3 Early Years Qualification

(e.g., NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of the

EYFS framework

. Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting. A passion for early childhood education and development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A caring, patient, and enthusiastic attitude. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential)

Your qualification MUST be full and relevant to work within early years, please be aware that this does not include any health and social care courses.
