Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant nursery team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. As an Early Years Educator, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the holistic development of children aged 0-5 years.

Duties

Plan and implement engaging educational activities that support the developmental milestones of each child. Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure the well-being and progress of each child. Observe and assess children's development, maintaining accurate records to track their progress. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day. Drive initiatives that promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being among children. Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and enhance the quality of care provided.

Requirements

A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience in childcare settings. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage groups of children effectively while fostering an atmosphere of respect and encouragement. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both children and colleagues. A genuine passion for early years education and the ability to drive children's learning through play-based approaches. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the field of early childhood education.
