We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator (Qualified) to join our team, due to our expansion and to provide a high level of support to our children and teams. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in nurturing and developing the early learning experiences of children aged 0-5 years. This position requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to providing high-quality childcare, and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and their families. As an Early Years Educator, you will help create a stimulating environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social development.
Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social development in young children.
Manage daily classroom routines while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding children's progress and development.
Observe and assess children's learning to tailor activities that meet their individual needs.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on best practices in early childhood education.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Drive initiatives that promote inclusive practices within the nursery.
We work with a Continuous Provision framework, encouraging In The Moment Planning within each room.
Experience
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education or Childcare is essential at or above Level 3.
Previous experience working with children in an Early Years setting (nursery, preschool, childminder, nanny) is required.
Able to work within a team through effective communication with all members.
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact positively with children, parents, and colleagues.
A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development through play-based learning.
Experience in creating engaging educational experiences tailored to various age groups is advantageous.
