Waterton Pre-Schools is extremely excited to be opening a baby room in September 2025 and are looking for a dynamic, experienced early years practitioner to take on the role of leader at the beginning of our journey to develop our provision for children aged nine months to two years in our successful pre-school in Wrenthorpe.

Our aim is to create a welcoming, safe, happy and inspiring learning environment with highly skilled and trained early years practitioners who support children to thrive and achieve their true potential in an environment that is best suited to their needs. You will become an integral part of a team of passionate staff who work tirelessly to create an enjoyable learning experience for our children. The team includes an Executive Headteacher, a Senior Manager, Setting Manager, Key Workers, Play Leaders and Apprentices.

Wrenthorpe Pre-School offers sessional and full day care for children aged 9 months to five years, all year round.

This is an exciting new role and brings with it an opportunity to work closely with the Pre-School Executive Headteacher, Senior Manager and Pre-School Manager to shape the direction of the service. This is a supervisory position and appropriate induction; training and support will be given to ensure the postholder is successful in this role.

The post is to commence 18th August 2025.

Salary & Grade - Grade 5 27,658 to 29,480

40 hours per week

All year round.
