Shoots Training are currently recruiting for a punctual, reliable and enthusiastic individual to join Happy Choo Choo, as a Nursery Manager
At Happy Choo Choo Nursery, our mission is to create the place where children are safe, happy, engaged and feel important.
We aim to support their development, independence, confidence and creativity through the play, exploring and new challenges.
We have 2 nurseries that provide care for ages 9 months to 5 years old.
Qualities Required:
At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within an early year setting.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding Course
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
To manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring a high-quality, safe, and stimulating environment for children. Lead and support staff to deliver outstanding care and early years education in line with the EYFS and other statutory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning and implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Ensure the nursery meets all Ofsted, health and safety, and safeguarding requirements.
Lead, manage, and develop a team of early years practitioners.
Build positive relationships with parents, children, and external professionals.
Monitor and evaluate staff performance, including supervisions and appraisals.
Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and financial reporting.
Maintain accurate records for children and staff.
Promote equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the setting.
Hours;
Happy Choo Choo Nursery are open between the hours of 08.00-18.00 Monday-Friday
Working hours will be 40 hours per week and shifts patterns will be discussed
Requirements;
Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role
Level 2 Qualifications in English and Maths (such as GCSEs or Functional Skills)
At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within an early year setting.
Sound knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
