Time Out Holiday Camps, based in Horsell, Woking, operate as day holiday camps for children aged 4-13, running from 8:00am to 4:00pm. Our camps are available during all school holiday periods, including February half-term, the Easter holidays, May half-term, the summer holidays, October half-term, and the December holidays.
The Role
Early Years Lead (Ages 4-6)
Time Out Holiday Camps is seeking an experienced, calm, and highly capable
Early Years Lead
to oversee and lead provision for our youngest campers (ages 4-6).
This is a
senior on-site leadership role
. The Early Years Lead is responsible not only for delivering outstanding provision, but also for
leading the Early Years team
, setting standards, and ensuring a consistently high-quality, nurturing, and well-managed environment.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the planning and delivery of structured, age-appropriate Early Years activities
Overseeing the day-to-day running of the Early Years provision
Leading, supporting, and mentoring Early Years staff
Ensuring safeguarding, welfare, and safety standards are consistently met
Establishing a calm, secure, and engaging environment for young children
Managing behaviour confidently using positive and developmentally appropriate strategies
Supporting children's emotional, social, and physical development
Acting as the main point of contact for Early Years-related matters on site
Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
Significant experience working with children aged 4-6
Experience leading groups of young children confidently and independently
Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide and support other staff
A calm, patient, and highly professional manner
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
A clear understanding of safeguarding and child development in the Early Years
Desirable Experience
We are particularly interested in candidates with:
A valid
Paediatric First Aid
qualification
Early Years, EYFS, nursery, or Reception-class experience
Previous leadership or senior responsibility within Early Years or childcare settings
Teaching assistant, HLTA, or trainee teacher experience
Backgrounds in play-based learning, sport, dance, drama, or creative activities
A long-term interest in education, Early Years leadership, or childcare management
