Room Supervisor required.

The right person will need to lead and manage a team of qualified practitioners and oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with educational standards, and fostering a nurturing environment for young children.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for early childhood development. Prior supervisory experience in a childcare or educational setting is highly desirable. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's growth while developing professionally within a supportive team.

You will be a key worker, plan and develop activities to suit the needs of the children , have a professional tone, outlook and manner with parents and team members.

Duties

Overall, make sure the well being and care for the children in your setting are thriving.

Take on the DSL role and have experience in SEND. Supervise and support staff to ensure high-quality education and care. Oversee and take part in daily activities, curriculum implementation, and adherence to safety standards. Help with on boarding of new team members Be familiar and active on nursery apps. Implement policies and procedures. Maintain excellent standards with parents and visitors Lead training & development initiatives to enhance team skills and knowledge. Excellent EYFS knowledge and skills.

Pay: 13.25-14.90 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
