Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate Early Years Educator to join our team in providing high-quality care and education to young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childcare and early childhood education, demonstrating leadership skills and a nurturing approach. The role involves overseeing and engaging with children in a nurturing environment, promoting their development and well-being whilst keeping them safe and having safeguarding at the forefront of everything we do. Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver engaging educational activities for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum- Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues to ensure a supportive learning environment- Drive the development of each child's social, emotional, and cognitive skills through structured play and learning experiences- Create a safe and stimulating nursery environment that promotes learning and development- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's individual needs- Monitor and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records of their development.
Skills:- Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is essential- Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a team of educators- Proficient in English language, both spoken and written- Qualifications in early childhood education or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above)- Candidates MUST have a full and relevant Early Years qualification - Ability to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for children to thrive- Excellent organisational skills to plan activities effectively.

Hours available between 20-30 hours per week. Days and times to be confirmed. Hours will be term time only. With an additional 5 days to be worked in our holiday club.
