We're looking for a Pre-School Nursery Manager with a Level 3 childcare qualification and 2+ years' leadership experience to lead our exceptional team at The Manor Pre-School Nursery Carlisle, Cumbria. (Carlisle is Cumbria's historic, capital city, a major gateway and hub for exploring both the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall)

About Our Nursery

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum which is all play based learning

All practitioners have Level 3 qualifications or equivalent, paediatric first aid qualifications and a Level 3 safeguarding qualifications

The nursery is based within a well-loved community centre where children also have access to a library

The Manor pre-school nursery was Ofsted rated "Good" in April 2024 A bright, spacious, modern nursery with a well-equipped outdoor play area.
An In-house catering team, who prepare menus and food; we have a dining space that fosters social skills

About you:

We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Nursery Manager whose primary goal is to deliver the highest standards of childcare and early years education.

You will be resourceful, have strong leadership ability and excellent communication skills. You will have strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent childcare or education qualification

Experience as a Nursery Manager or Assistant Nursery Manager. SEND experience or and a qualification Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills. A focus on delivering high-quality childcare and early education.
