We are seeking an experienced and passionate

Early Years Manager

to lead our early years setting and ensure the highest standards of care, learning, and development for all children. The successful candidate will provide inspirational leadership to the team, maintain a safe and stimulating environment, and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of the setting, ensuring smooth operations and a welcoming, inclusive environment. Lead, support, and develop staff to deliver outstanding early years education and care. Ensure that all children receive high-quality learning experiences in line with the

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

framework. Manage recruitment, supervision, appraisal, and training of staff to maintain a motivated and skilled team. Maintain accurate records, policies, and procedures in line with Ofsted and safeguarding requirements. Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support every child's individual development. Monitor and evaluate the quality of provision and implement continuous improvement strategies. Oversee budgets, resources, and administrative duties to ensure the setting remains sustainable and efficient.

Essential Requirements`

Minimum

Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent

GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.

Proven leadership or management experience in an early years setting. Excellent understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child protection policies. Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.

Desirable

Paediatric First Aid and Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) training. Experience in managing budgets and operational planning.
