Due to ongoing developments within Evergreen our national award-winning team is currently looking for an experienced early years leader to join our leadership team.

As the Operations Manager at Evergreen, you will join a team who are celebrated for their individuality, whilst having a strong, shared set of values. The Operations Manager will support the head of early years to oversee the day to day operational running of the organisation, across all three of our sites and our central functions. This role also includes the oversight of regulatory compliance.

The Operations Manager will work closely with the leadership team to support strategic and dynamic planning and drive the overall continual development and success of Evergreen Early Years.

The post holder will have at least three, preferably five years experience in an early years' manager role. Excellent and in depth knowledge of the statutory regulations including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted Inspection Framework, safeguarding and SEND Code of Practice is essential.

Key Role and Responsibilities



? Leading on the oversight of all Evergreen's policies and procedures, ensuring that they are up to date, and embedded into practice

? Liaising closely with the leadership team to quality assure check all aspects of care, learning, development and practice; ensuring that we are meeting all statutory regulations in regard to the EYFS and the Ofsted Inspection Framework

? Working closely with the leadership team to assure all aspects of safeguarding; ensuring that we are meeting all statutory regulations; keeping children safe in education, early help assessment and the local authorities' policies and procedures

? Supporting across all three settings, stepping into the nursery managers role in their absence to ensure consistency of practice

? To act as a critical friend, observing and evaluating practice in routines and teaching through the curriculum, to ensure improvements and changes are highlighted, planned and actioned in a timely manner

? Working closely with nursery managers to support them with long term development plans to progress Evergreen as an organisation

? To work as an integral part of the leadership team, develop relationships through honest, transparent conversations and collaboration

? To continually develop own knowledge and that of others. Attend training, access research, explore new initiatives and keep updated on changes to guidance and cascade this to the managers and the team through conversations, modelling, policy changes and meetings

? Develop and maintain communication tools and systems to facilitate effective and timely communication to all

Skills and Experience:



Knowledge and experience of statutory guidelines and documents:

Excellent and in depth knowledge of the statutory regulations including Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Ofsted Inspection Framework, safeguarding and SEND code of Practice.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Ability to work closely with the leadership team to support strategic and dynamic planning and decision-making, supporting a team-oriented environment.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with the team, parents and carers and other agencies.

Organisational Skills:

Strong organisational and multitasking abilities are essential.

Problem-Solving:

Proven aptitude for identifying challenges and developing practical solutions to improve processes and outcomes.

: From 31,844.80 to 35,360.00 (depending on qualifications and experience)
